To ensure the spirit of the Geopark reaches every corner of the community, we created the Geopark Goes to School initiative. This proactive outreach program brings the wonders of Belitong’s geological, biological, and cultural heritage directly into classrooms. Our team visits schools across the island, delivering dynamic presentations, interactive workshops, and storytelling sessions about everything from the formation of granite tors to the cultural significance of the Satam stone. By engaging students in their own learning environment, we aim to cultivate a deep sense of pride and ownership, inspiring them to become the future guardians of Belitong’s extraordinary heritage.
